The FIER II project and the National Directorate of Vocational Training organised on 17 September 2025 a day of information and awareness-raising on the five emerging professions in the city of Koulikoro for the benefit of regional youth. The aim of the activity was to facilitate the vocational integration of young people by providing them with useful information on emerging occupations in the Koulikoro region.
It brought together members of youth and women's organizations, administrative and political authorities, employment structures and vocational training in Koulikoro.
The day allowed for dynamic and well structured exchanges, highlighting the potential of these emerging professions in reducing youth unemployment in Mali. These five new occupations are: precision agriculture, sustainable agriculture, artificial animal insemination, milk processing and photovoltaic electricity.
The information and guidance day was an opportunity for many participants to discover these emerging professions and their importance in the fight against unemployment and youth unemployment.
